![]() For instance be allowed to supply a list of names, or a file containing names (again preferably yaml) Allow the user to interract with the script through a commandline interface. You have a settings file and a streamer.txt, I would combine those two into a yaml userfile.Your module docstring in main should be improved. What docstring format are you using? I am not familiar with it.I'm an experienced python dev and available to answer any questions as well :) 1) how could the code/code structure be further improved?Ģ) are there any other magical tools/libraries I'm missing that I can add to my arsenal above?ģ) any other tips/feedback is greatly appreciate It works very well and I'm sharing for anyone that would like to use it and more importantly for feedback/critique. The time taken correctly formatting the code (black), proper package/structure management (poetry), type hints (mypy), sorting imports (isort), errors/code smells (pylint), and a beautiful readme took about 6 hours. The time taken to write the core features took about 20 minutes. I'll start with the basics of how it works: 1) read a list of streamers from a text fileĢ) open a unique browser tab for each twitch streamer's streamģ) refresh each tab every x amount of seconds to start any streams that weren't yet started last refreshĪnd how simple it is to use: 1) fill a text file with streamer twitch names (streamers.txt) All possible details and instructions are available in the repo thanks to a really nice readme template I just started using, but I'll add the basics here as well to save some people clicks :) ![]() It also works for all other twitch drops. Also overwatch 2 drops are tomorrow and I wanted to nab a beta key. The goal was to write and structure the code in the most pythonic, beautiful, eloquent way possible. This is a very simple app that I went above and beyond to make as clean and properly structured/formatted as possible.
